In a condolence message Alhaji (Akogun) Lere Oyewumi, noted that Sheik Ajibade was a great man, God-fearing, and a lover of his people especially the Ikire Muslim Community that he led over the years. "The demise of the Chief Imam of Ikire, Alhaji Raji Ajibade is a great loss to us all. He was a great Islamic Scholar, Preacher and Community Leader who loved and serve his people as Chief Imam.
